You can try to ask the other telepaths or Val, given that they seem to have the most information about what's happening psychically and physically with the sleeping people, but thus far the only information we have is that people seem to be waking up randomly after some kind of horrible and very real worst-case scenario, that they're more comatose than asleep given that they're not dreaming, and that we haven't figured out any way to wake them up. We haven't been attacked yet either and haven't gotten word of who or what might be doing this.
